BSG has developed its own multi-sku engine in-house, the Clubhouse Engine. The code is cleanly written by veteran coders and is powerful and efficient, and was built from the ground up to be cross-platform, with versions functional on the PS3, PSP, Xbox360, PC, Mac, Wii, and iPhone. Having been in development for several years, the engine is full-featured and to date has been used on 8 different games on platforms ranging from the PS3 to the iPhone. Extended features include particle editing and rendering, Max and Maya integration, and Wii balance board input. Clubhouse also supports scripting via the syntax-friendly Squirrel scripting language, putting gameplay in the hands of the design team while retaining an object-oriented structure. Additionally, with an export system that bypasses an intermediary build process, artists are able to iterate content in realtime, which translates into higher quality in a shorter timeline.

Additionally, BSG has recently received a sizeable grant from the National Research Council of Canada to augment Clubhouse's rendering technology. While the exact feature set remains confidential, please keep an eye out for our official announcement!
